How To look slim without dieting!

Wear heels

While wearing heels on a day to day basis isn’t ideal for your health, if you want to look slimmer for a big night out, swapping flats for heels can make all the difference. Heels instantly make your legs look longer and more toned and make you appear taller and slimmer.

For a more comfortable alternative, try opting for kitten heels or wedges. Also, avoid shoes with ankle straps which can make legs appear chunkier.

Wear the right sized clothes

While this may sound obvious, many people make the mistake of opting for a smaller dress size to make them feel slimmer or for larger, baggier clothes to help conceal problem areas.

However, wearing ill-fitting clothes is one of the worst things you can do if you are hoping to look slim. To create a slimmer figure, always opt for well-fitted clothes that flatter your shape.

Draw attention to your best body parts

To start dressing slim, you need to take some time to work out your body shape and think about what suits your figure. Dresses that are nipped in at the waist and skim over the stomach and thighs can flatter curvier figures, for example, while those with larger legs may want to avoid calf-high boots.

In fact, try to avoid any item that cuts off at the widest part of your body, such as cap-sleeved tops for those with larger arms. Take a friend and a camera and try on different styles of clothing to learn what emphasizes your best parts.

Men’s diet: The must eats

Healthy eating can sometimes be different depending on your gender. Here’s a list of foods that men must include in their diet.
Blueberries
Blueberries have been linked to reduced risk of prostate cancer, owing to high levels of proanthocyanidins (a subtype of flavonoids). The benefits of blueberries does not end there, research also suggests that this fruit can reduce risk of heart disease, age-related memory loss and type-2 diabetes  — all of which – typically effect more men than women.

Brazil nuts
Snacking on nuts in general is good for the heart and skin. Brazil nuts, however, are particularly good for men as they have a high selenium content, which is known to enhance sperm health and mortality. Selenium also helps reduce LDL or bad cholesterol and acts as mood enhancer.

Cabbage, broccoli and Brussels sprout
Cabbage, broccoli and Brussels sprout are some important veggies that every man must include in his diet. These veggies are known to contain cancer-fighting chemicals, which are known to cut risk of prostate and colorectal cancer in men.
So add them in plenty in your daily diet.

Tomatoes
This popular fruit has many benefits for men. Lycopene (a phytochemical) is known to lower cholesterol, cut risk of colorectal cancer and heart disease.
Studies show that men who regularly eat food rich in lycopene have lesser chances of developing prostate cancer.

Eggs
If you’re prone to hair loss, then look no further. Eggs, an excellent source of protein and biotin (vitamin B7) boosts hair growth. Additionally, egg yolks are a good source of iron, which research suggests helps alleviate hair loss caused by anaemia.

Pomegranate
Packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, and studies show that eating pomegranate regularly can help lower cholesterol, a problem common to many men.
Many studies also suggest that drinking a glass of pomegranate juice daily ca slow down the progress of prostate cancer.

Garlic
Garlic’s heart health boosting properties are well known, it helps lower cholesterol, reducing chances of blockage. Further, research findings published in the Journal of National Cancer Institute suggests that regularly eating garlic and onions cuts risk of prostate cancer. So include them in your diet today.

Salmon
Salomon, a sea fish is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can help treat the cause of many common health ailments in men. It not only helps reduce LDL or bad cholesterol, it also helps alleviate depression and cuts risk of prostate and colorectal cancer.

Whole grains
Whole grains pack in a host of vitamins, minerals and fibre – good for both men and women. However, it’s the B vitamins that particularly benefit men.
Vitamin B9 (folate) helps keep sperm healthy, vitamin B7 (biotin) helps reduce hair loss. Silica, also found in whole grains aids healthy hair growth.

Samsung to unveil its next Galaxy S smartphone on Apple's turf

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd said it will launch its new Galaxy S smartphone on March 14 in New York, taking its fight for market supremacy to Apple Inc's doorstep after reportedly being inundated with requests from U.S. mobile carriers.
The Galaxy S IV model will heat up competition in the crucial U.S. mobile phone market, where Apple surpassed Samsung Electronics as the top mobile phone seller for the first time in the fourth quarter of 2012.
It will be the first U.S. launch of Samsung's flagship Galaxy smartphone in three years, company spokeswoman Chenny Kim said, and comes amid a Samsung advertising blitz in the United States that has including light-hearted jabs at Apple's fans.
"We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York)... as we were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country," Samsung Electronics' mobile division chief JK Shin was quoted as saying on the Edaily news website.

iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3: which should you buy?

Android v iOS
Samsung uses Google’s Android operating system; Apple uses its own iOS. They look very different, with Apple’s iPhone dominated by the now familiar grid of icons for apps and functions such as the web and calls. Android is infinitely customisable, with widgets that take up as much of the screen as you want sharing space with standard icons. So if you want to see your inbox on a main screen, rather than clicking through to it, you can do that on Android but not on iOS.
Equally, however, if you want a neat and friendly grid of icons on every screen, then the iPhone will do it for you with very little hassle. Both will let you put apps into folders to make things easier to navigate.
At the heart of the iOS v Android debate is the idea of a highly curated experience, iOS, where everything must match up to Apple’s strict rules, or Google’s approach which is open and different on each handset. Samsung is aware that that can make Android seem unfriendly to new users, so there is an easy screen mode which presents users with standard options, and the default is to a mixture of icons and widgets for, say, news and weather. It’s added features such as ‘Direct Call’ which mean you can phone someone automatically by lifting the device to your ear if you’re looking at their contact details.

Nokia unveils Lumia 720, Lumia 520 Lumia Windows 8 phones

Nokia today expanded its Lumia range with the launch of Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 at the Mobile World Congress here, upping its ante against global rivals – Apple and Samsung – in the smartphone category.
Lumia 520 will be Nokia's most affordable Windows 8 smartphone, with the same digital camera lenses on Lumia 920. It will be priced 139 euros onwards.
It will be available in Q1 in Hong Kong and Vietnam and in markets in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa in Q2.
The Finnish company also unveiled four new devices, including its cheapest phone at 15 euro (around Rs 1,100), and sought to strengthen the smartphone portfolio in an attempt to regain the ground it has lost to global rivals Samsung and Apple.
Nokia 105, the company's "most affordable phone to date" at 15 euro, is designed for first-time buyers to woo them with colour screen, FM radio and dust and splash-proof keypad.
In India, Nokia's lowest priced device is available at about Rs 1,250.

Moody dwindle down UK rating from AAA to AAA+

As the per report  Credit ratings agency moodys Investors Service downgraded Britain's government bond rating none notch from the top AAA to AA1 on Friday, saying sluggish growth and rising debt were weakening the country's medium-term outlook.

Treasury chief George Osborne said the blow only redoubled his resolve "to deliver our economic recovery plan," based on deep spending cuts. Moody's said "subdued" growth prospects and a "high and rising debt burden" were weighing on the British economy.

The agency said rising debt meant "a deterioration in the shock-absorption capacity of the government's balance sheet, which is unlikely to reverse before 2016." It said, though, that "the UK's creditworthiness remains extremely high," and its outlook was stable.

Moody's said that "a combination of political will and medium-term fundamental underlying economic strengths will, in time, allow the government to implement its fiscal consolidation plan and reverse the U.K.'s debt trajectory."
For the British government, the move was unwelcome but not unexpected. All three of the big rating agencies — Moody's, Standard & Poor's and Fitch — had placed Britain's rating on negative watch, as the economy  continues to struggle.

The Conservative-led government is cutting 50 billion pounds ($80 billion) in spending through 2015 in a bid to slash the national debt, which stands at more than 1 trillion pounds, over 70 percent of GDP.

Chromebook Pixel—Google’s groundbreaker laptop

Google has once again stunned the tech world. The new laptop they unveiled yesterday in San Francisco—the ‘Chromebook Pixel’— stands out for many things radically new.
Its specs compete with any of the existing Ultrabooks or Macbooks; its resolution outdoes the best existing ones by almost 100 percent. That’s as good as, if not better than, what Apple calls ‘retina display’.
It has touchscreen, along with a keyboard and mousepad; the high-res touchscreen allows all the fancies and utilities like ‘tap’, ‘pinch to zoom’ and ‘swipe’.
Chromebook Pixel runs on Intel Core i5 processor and comes out in two models: 32 GB model with WiFi only, 64 GB model with WiFi and LTE.
Apart from the 32 GB or 64 GB built-in storage, Google offers 1TB free space on Google Drive for three years.
In addition to all regular Google apps and docs, Chrome Pixel buyers can enjoy seamless integration with Microsoft Office—to satisfy the MS Office fanatics Google is offering Quick Office for free.
Where to buy: The Chromebook Pixel is already available in Google Play, and shall soon be available on bestbuy.com.

HONDA SEDAN SURPASS MARUTIS SWIFT DZIRE

Slated to make its debut soon in the diesel-powered car segment with Amaze, a sedan built on the Brio platform, HONDA CAR may aggressively price its new offering to take on Maruti's Dzire head-on.
The wholly owned Indian subsidiary of Japan's second-largest car-maker, which last week ripped off Rs 3 lakh from the CR-V, its flagship SPORT utility vehicle, has become aggressive of late. Having implemented price cuts, first on the HONDA Jazz hatchback and then on its flagship City sedan, Honda has pinned hopes on the Amaze to regain market share.

The Amaze is to be pitted against Maruti's hugely successful Dzire, which is the largest-selling sedan in India and is available in both petrol and diesel versions at Rs 4.92-7.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Honda is keeping its pricing strategy a closely guarded secret, but experts say a jackpot is possible only with a prudent pricing. "We will outline a strategy close to the debut of the car," says Jnaneshwar Sen, senior vice-president (marketing & sales), Honda Car India.

railways to be unveiled 100 new trains soon

Its really a pleasurable news that railways very soon introduced 100 trains, including AC double deckers, new passenger services and extension of services to cater to the demands of various states in the Rail Budget 2013-14.

As far as rolling stock programme is concerned, the announcement will be made for manufacturing of 4200 new coaches including 600 LHB coaches in the Rail Budget.

While provision for manufacturing of 670 new locomotives including 20 LNG locos will be made, the budget will also account for manufacturing of about 16,000 new wagons.

"The focus of the Rail Budget this year is on providing more amenities to passengers. Attempts have been made to cater to the demands of all regions including Northeast as there were representations for new trains from various states," sources in Railway Ministry said.

While services of some express trains have been extended, frequency of certain popular trains have also been increased keeping the demand of people's representatives in mind. from the last year failure railways should have to learn something . Railways had announced launching of 175 trains including passenger services.

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in trains and stations, providing quality linen, up-gradation of fire-fighting arrangements and new facilities for differently abled persons are some of the measures likely to be announced by Railway Minister pawan kumar bansal in his maiden budget spech on February 26.

The proposal to provide braille stickers inside coaches for assisting visually impaired passengers are among the measures likely to be announced by Bansal.

The top 10 emerging technologies for 2013

OnLine Electric Vehicles (OLEV): Wireless technology can now deliver electric power to moving vehicles.
In next-generation electric cars, pick-up coil sets under the vehicle floor receive power remotely via an electromagnetic field broadcast from cables installed under the road.

3-D Printing:

A fabrication process to create 3-dimensional solid structures from a digitally originated design. The key distinction of this process as compared with other, more conventional lithography techniques, is that it is *additive* rather than subtractive. That is, the additional material is deposited on top of the underlying layer to create a free-standing structure from the bottom up. In standard patterning techniques, the material is commonly removed to effectively carve out the feature of interest. Specialized instruments, aka 3D printers, are generally required to be able to print the features of interest. In such a 3D printing process, an object can be made from scratch by following a computer aided design, CAD, file. 3D printers are mostly used as prototyping tools because the process is still time-consuming, expensive, and not 100% reliable.

Self-healing materials:
One of the defining characteristics of living organisms is their inherent ability to repair physical damage. A growing trend in biomimicry is the creation of non-living structural materials that also have the capacity to heal themselves when cut, torn or cracked. Self-healing materials which can repair damage without external human intervention could give manufactured goods longer lifetimes and reduce the demand for raw materials, as well as improving the inherent safety of materials used in construction or to form the bodies of aircraft.

Energy-efficient water purification:
Water scarcity is a worsening ecological problem in many parts of the world due to competing demands from agriculture, cities and other human uses. Where freshwater systems are over-used or exhausted, desalination from the sea offers near-unlimited water but a considerable use of energy – mostly from fossil fuels – to drive evaporation or reverse-osmosis systems. Emerging technologies offer the potential for significantly higher energy efficiency in desalination or purification of wastewater, potentially reducing energy consumption by 50% or more.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) conversion and use:
Long-promised technologies for the capture and underground sequestration of carbon dioxide have yet to be proven commercially viable, even at the scale of a single large power station. New technologies that convert the unwanted CO2 into saleable goods can potentially address both the economic and energetic shortcomings of conventional CCS strategies

Enhanced nutrition to drive health at the molecular level:
The large-scale production of pure human dietary proteins based on the application of biotechnology to molecular nutrition can deliver health benefits such as muscle development, managing diabetes or reducing obesity.

Remote sensing:
The increasingly widespread use of sensors that allow often passive responses to external stimulae will continue to change the way we respond to the environment, particularly in the area of health. Examples include sensors that continually monitor bodily function – such as heart rate, blood oxygen and blood sugar levels – and, if necessary, trigger a medical response such as insulin provision.

All you wanted to know about the HTC One

Taiwan's HTC Corp has unveiled the new smartphone that it hopes will set it apart from the crowd of Google Android devices on the market and help it make up ground lost to Samsung and Apple. HTC was an early, and successful, maker of smartphones based on Android, but it has been eclipsed by the increasing dominance of Samsung in the Android market. HTC One price in India is expected to be around Rs 45000. Here are ten things to know about the HTC One:

  • The HTC One is powered by Google's Android Jelly Bean, but the company has distinguished it from rivals by using new software to replace icons on the home screen with a personalized stream of news articles, social networking updates, photos and video.
  • The phone is made entirely of aluminum, no small feat, according to Mike Woodward, President of HTC America, who said it took two years to make a good all-metal phone.
  •  The new HTC One has a 4.7-inch screen, making it larger than the iPhone but smaller than some other Android phones. The HTC One has the same screen resolution as the larger phone, at 1920 by 1080 pixels.
  • The HTC One is flanked vertically by two speaker strips which calls it Boomsound producing a stereo effect.
  • The phone is fast too, due to its quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM.

  • Where the HTC One stands out from other Android phones on specs is with its new ZOE camera. HTC has ditched megapixels for an ultrapixel camera, which would allow users to take much better low-light shots without having to use flash, Woodward said. An ultrapixel is twice the size of a megapixel - it lets in 300 percent more light.

  • HTC is also billing it as the first smartphone with a built-in remote control function, opening a window into a potential new business model for phone vendors and cable TV operators.

  • HTC is in discussions with cable operators in different countries, and hopes to offer a more interactive package for consumers by transforming the phone into a remote control for TVs, set-top boxes and receivers.

  • The HTC One comes with 'BlinkFeed'. BlinkFeed is a live stream of all of the user's favorite content, streamed from multiple news feeds and blogs. The user can choose from over 1,400 sources. HTC BlinkFeed aggregates the freshest content from the most relevant and interesting sources, giving it to people at a glance, all in one place, without the need to jump between multiple applications and web sites.

  • The phone phone will be made available globally through more than 180 mobile operators and retailers in 80 countries from March.

Oymyakon: The world's coldest inhabited place

Known as the 'Pole of cloud', Oymyakon is a small Russian hamlet with a population of around 450 and with an average temperature of -50 degree Celsius making it the coldest inhabited settlement in the world. Temperatures here can drop to  lows of -71 degree Celsius. During the World War II, an airfield was built in this village for the Alaska-Siberian air route to ferry American Lend-Lease aircraft. Since temperatures are so low nothing grows here, thus most of the villagers live on reindeer meat and horse meat with a single grocery store supplying the bare necessities. Despite the harsh climate, people live in the valley, and the area is equipped with schools, a post office, a bank, and even an airport runway.
A man walks through a courtyard in Yakutsk, in the Republic of Sakha, northeast Russia.. The coldest temperatures in the northern hemisphere have been recorded in Sakha, the location of the Oymyakon valley, where according to the United Kingdom Met Office a temperature of -67.8 degrees Celsius (-90 degrees Fahrenheit) was registered in 1933 - the coldest on record in the northern hemisphere since the beginning of the 20th century.

ALTERING YOUR CARS TO HYBRID TO SAVE FROM ENERGY BY 25%

The ministry of heavy industries is drafting a policy framework that will provide a norm for manufacturers of hybrid kits that enable existing passengers to convert into hybrids.

This new technology kits that Indian joint ventures such as at   an advance stage of manufacturing would lead to significant improvement in fuel efficiency. A retrofitted hybrid kit will provide at least a 15-25% higher fuel mileage in existing cars.

The new proposal will give a fillip to existing vehicle owners keen on converting to hybrid vehicles by deploying a parallel system that co-habits with existing power systems.

Besides leading to substantial saving on energy bills, the saving itself would allow the entire investment to be recovered in two-three years of vehicle use. The hybrid kit powered by batteries cost between Rs70,000 andRs1.5 lakh for small car to bigger SUVs currently running on Indian roads.

The ministry of heavy industries, the nodal agency for automotive industry in India, has drafted a policy framework to allow hybrid kits installation into existing passenger cars and hybrid cars are really a phenomenal concept because mileage is awesome .If i talk about technology as well as automobiles the hybrid cars really gonna blown out the way because it will helps in reducing hazardous emissions because the green house gases  drops by emission by more than 30%.....
